Final Assessment

Dear Yoni,
When I see the little amount of work you did, I can't justify continuing with this kind of project. That means that you wasted all those lessons!
You need to take a lot more care with your English - spelling (you should use spell check always), capital letters, punctuation, contractions, etc.
You used a book that you had already done a book report on SO you should have breezed through this assignment.
Your final grade is 55.
Yours,
Karen Noll Stanger

The Ending
Use your imagination and write a different ending for your book. Write 100-120 words to describe it.
New ending:
One day they met once again at the fence and they went exploring at the concentration camp.
They were exploring for hours and a german officer caught them and took them into the gas chambers and it was a very small place so everyone was squished and Bruno saw his dad killing everyone. He didnt know why his dad was doing it he thought he was a good guy.
Eventually it was Brunos and Shmuels turn to die.
Without noticing his dad pulled both of them in and he did not notice that his son was there and then he turned the gas chamber on.
Bruno screamed "Dad!!!" but it was too late. His dad finally noticed that he kiled his son and then decided to throw himself into the chamber because he could not live with the thought that he killed his own son.
The Plot
The plot of the story is what actually happens. Describe the plot of your book. Every story has a turning point or climax when you find out what the author plans for the end. Describe the turning point in your story. Were you surprised? Was it expected?
Answers:
1.At the start of the story he was a normal boy with a normal life until he moved close to a concentration camp with a barbed wire fence.
Bruno would always look out of his window wondering what its like there so he went exploring and he met a small skinny pale boy in striped pyjamas at the other side of the fence.
The started talking and got very close to each other.
The boy was so close to him that one day he snuck into the other side of the fence and thay went looking for Shmuel (the boy in the striped pyjamas) and they got caught.
The officer took both of them into gas chambers and the both died.
I was very surprised when it happened and it was not that expected.
